How to read a CannaForge strain page

Every strain on CannaForge has a permanent page with a fixed structure. Once you can read one, you can read all of them.

   Header & lineage status

   Check the verified / reported / disputed badge. That tells you how much trust to place in the parentage below.

   Parents & Genetics Map

   Click any parent to walk up the family tree. Use the inline 'Map this strain' link to open the same node in the Genetics Map.

   Trait chips

   Family, classification, terpene, aroma, seed type — each chip links to the index page where you can find other strains with the same trait.

   Breeder card

   If the breeder is on CannaForge, you'll see their tier badge and a link to their storefront. Forging breeders won't show listings yet; Forged and up will.

   Children & siblings

   Lower on the page you'll see strains that descended from this one. This is how working breeders find candidates for new crosses.

   Cross-link footer

   Map this strain, jump to the family page, browse verified breeders, or pop open the Genetics Guide — built into every strain page.
