Using the Genetics Map effectively

The Genetics Map is the visual sibling of the Lineage Atlas — every approved strain plotted as a node, every documented parent → child link drawn as an edge.

What the map shows

• Center node = the strain you're focused on
• Lines going up = parents and grandparents
• Lines going down = children and descendants
• Color = classification (indica / sativa / hybrid)
• Crown icon = a known landrace or foundational strain

   Search a strain

   Type any name in the search bar to recenter the map on that node.

   Switch modes

   Pedigree shows lineage. Constellation clusters by family. Both are useful for different questions.

   Filter by classification

   Toggle indica / sativa / hybrid pills to dim the rest. Useful when a family has 50+ descendants.

   Filter by breeder

   Limit to one breeder's lineage to understand the shape of their library.

   Open a node

   Click any node to jump to its strain page in a new tab. Use the back arrow to return to the map view.
