IPM is a strategy, not a product. You build layered defenses so pests never get a foothold.

  1. 1
    Quarantine
New clones, new tools, new soil — quarantine for 7+ days before introducing to your room.
  2. 2
    Sticky traps
Yellow sticky cards monitor flying pests. Set them at canopy height. Replace weekly.
  3. 3
    Beneficials
Predatory mites, ladybugs, lacewings. Release proactively in veg — they don't work mid-flower.
  4. 4
    Foliar spray rotation
Neem in veg only. Stop all foliar by week 3 of flower. Rotate actives so pests don't adapt.
  5. 5
    Environment control
Spider mites love hot/dry. Powdery mildew loves cool/humid. Match conditions to make your room unwelcoming to your most common pests.
Common pest signs
Spider mites
  • Tiny webs under leaves
  • Stippled, yellow specks on leaves
  • Loves hot/dry (28°C+, <50% RH)
Thrips, aphids, fungus gnats
  • Thrips: silver streaks on leaves
  • Aphids: clusters on new growth, sticky honeydew
  • Gnats: black flyers around soil — overwatering signal
