Genotype Vs Phenotype

Genotype refers to the genetic code of a cannabis plant—the inherited DNA blueprint passed from parent plants through seeds. Phenotype is the observable expression of that genotype in a specific environment: leaf shape, flower structure, color, aroma, and growth patterns. The same genotype can produce different phenotypes depending on light, temperature, humidity, soil, and nutrients. Breeders must understand both to reliably stabilize traits across generations.
